It begins by presenting Duolingo’s science-based teaching method, which draws heavily on research in cognitive science. It then presents an overview of efficacy research conducted on Duolingo language courses, as well as on Duolingo ABC, the company’s early childhood reading app. The talk wraps up with practical tips and advice on applying to jobs in industry.
